Heat up the Summer!

Well I guess summer has finally arrived in New England. It is a hot day at our offices here. Work related travel has slowed down some for the time being. Of course we are always setting our sights ahead to the next big event...or two!

So this fall (October 2007) we are headed back to Florida. We will be in both Key West and Orlando respectively. Adult Novelty Company and Simple Desires representatives will be headed to both Bear Bust and Fantasy Fest this October.

This weeks planing meeting focused on getting ready for both of these events. This was the first in a series of planning meetings that will be focused on both of these large events. For those who are wondering, our planning meetings are in typical laid back New England fashion. Sometimes around a campfire with great food, great drinks, and great minds. It is out of these type of meetings that some of our greatest ideas grow and come to fruition.

My role here in this company is nothing like what you would imagine a corporate position to be. For one, every day is casual Friday and some days we stretch the limit of what is "casual attire." The only time we are subject to a dress code is at some events. At those times, the dress code is a "What's Your Fetish?" t-shirt. Yes I love my job. On the downside, we don't really slow down in the summer like some jobs. There is always planning for the next event and we keep growing our company. Growth is aparently a lot of work!

The Fun Continues In Jacksonville (FL)

I am out on my own now, but I remain on the road and now visiting Jacksonville (FL). As always, having a great time and giving out discounts. Look for me with the red "What's Your Fetish?" shirt. During this leg of the trip we visited some bars in Jacksonville and we also made a brief visit to Club Jacksonville.

What Happens in Orlando......

Well what is that adage? "What a long strange trip it has been!" Of course by "strange" we mean good.

For those of you who didn't know, it was Gay Days in Orlando this week/weekend. Adult Novelty Company and Simple Desires representatives were in force at many of the events. We gave out over 1,000 discounts to our old and new friends.

As you know, by reading this blog, the representatives in red "What's Your Fetish?" shirts had discounts to give out to people. When all was said and done, over 1,000 people received discounts.

So many men and women have written in to our site requesting information about how to approach the subject of purchasing sex toys when they are already in a relationship with a man. 1) Many men believe you should deal with problems alone.

For this reason, I would recommend that you begin to broach this subject with your man from a positive perspective. Likewise, be clear with him that the toy you wish to introduce is not intended to make up for a problem in the sex life or, even more important, it is not to replace the need for him. Rather, the toy is meant to make great sex even better and take some of the pressure off him (or you when it comes to pleasing him). Men don’t need help (so they think) and, therefore, you must be very careful with the semantics to not suggest that the toy is to help his performance; even if it is to help him please you.

2) Many men like control.
This is often even truer in the bedroom. Tell him,
or should I say allow him, to control the toy. Let him insert the toy into you and let him move it around and watch you quiver. 3) Many men think they can do it better, like to compete, and don’t like to feel inadequate.

The Great Sex Austrian Sex Toy Escape

Here is a great story out of Krems, Austria. Reported by metro.co.uk. on Tuesday April 3, 2007.

Aparently a gang of theives who had robbed a sex shop in Krems, Austria were successfully able to elude police in a high speed chase. Back at the Office

Well what a long week it has been. Finally back at the office from New York and Dallas.

Product Field Testing - The Fukuoku Five Finger Fantasy Glove

Today we had the opportunity to field test our Fukuoku Five Finger Fantasy Glove. We know you have probably heard a lot about this product already, but it remains one of our most popular items. We decided it was time to really field test this product. We get a lot of questions about this glove being "waterproof." A New Beginning
